A man was shot in an apparent gangland attack in Dublin last night.

A man was shot in an apparent gangland attack in Dublin last night.

The man who was shot more than once collided with a number of vehicles while trying to get to the Mater hospital.

The collisions occurred just before 10pm at the junction of the North Circular Road and Dorset Street in north Dublin.

Gardaí found the shooting victim inside the car.

The man is said to be known to gardai who believe that this is a gangland attack.
