Seven people remain in Garda custody this morning, in connection with last weekend's double murder in Limerick.

Investigating officers believe a shotgun was used to kill 24-year-old Dessie Kelly of Castleoaks View in O'Malley Park and his 28-year-old partner Breda Waters of St Mary's Park at around 9am on Sunday morning.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

In particular, they are hunting for two men who were seen walking in the area at the time.

Yesterday evening, a second house in the O'Malley Park area was sealed off for forensic testing.
