Nick Faldo took a share of the early lead at the Omega European Masters at Crans-sur-Sierre.
Faldo chipped in for birdie at the 412-yard 12th - his third - and then hit a superb iron to nine feet on the tricky 200-yard next.
At two under par the 45-year-old was joint top with big-hitting Emanuele Canonica, Patrik Sjoland and Jeev Milkha Singh.
Lee Westwood, Phillip Price and last week's winner Thomas Bjorn are all among the afternoon starters.
