A woman and two men questioned by officers investigating the gangland-style killing of a man at a pub in Dublin were today released without charge.

The three were arrested earlier this week as part of the investigation into the shooting of Raymond Salinger in January.

Mr Salinger – who was known to gardaí – was sitting in Farrell’s pub in Clanbrassil Street when somebody walked in and shot at him.

He was hit in the head and chest and taken to St James’s Hospital, where he died shortly afterwards.

A man arrested yesterday afternoon was still being questioned by gardaí.
