Teen in serious condition after Newtownards stabbing
A 19-year-old man is in a serious condition after he was stabbed in Co Down.
He is one of two young men who were confronted by a gang of youths on Regent Street in Newtownards shortly after 2am.
They fled to the Meeting House Lane area, but were followed by the gang and one of the teenagers was stabbed several times and hit over the head.
The injured man is said to be in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
