Bieber: 'X Factor' judges should 'chill out'

Justin Bieber has lent his support to controversial ‘X Factor’ contestant Wagner Fiuza-Carrilho.

The ‘Baby’ singer is due to perform on the ITV1 talent show this Sunday and has backed the 54-year-old hopeful after judge Cheryl Cole slated him live on last week’s show.

He said: “I know he isn’t the best singer, but the public want him there. The judges should chill out a bit.

“I thought Cheryl was a little mean to him. He just seems humble and happy to be there.”

Justin is not the only star to give his backing to Wagner – who will sing Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ this week – as Katy Perry and last year’s ‘X Factor’ runner-up Olly Murs have also given their support.

Katy – who filled in for judge Dannii Minogue during the audition process while she was on maternity leave – said: “He’s fun. He’s taking the criticism the judges give him really well. The public are crazy for him.”

Olly added: “Wagner is the only one entertaining anyone.”

While Wagner continues to gain support, One Direction star Zayn Malik admits he’s worried his group could be the next to go.

He said: “We don’t know what is going to happen. We think this will be our last week. It could be all over for us and we are really nervous.”
