Sinn Fein has won a major legal victory in its bid to overturn First Minister David Trimble's ban on its ministers participating in North-South meetings.

The UUP leader's sanction on Bairbre de Brun and Martin McGuinness because of IRA inaction on decommissioning was today declared unlawful by High Court judge Mr Justice Kerr in Belfast.
