The company that owns Dublin Mint has won an international award for business.

The Samlerhuset Group, one of Europe’s largest coin companies and owner of the Dublin Mint Office, has been given a bronze Stevie award after they organised a world tour for the most expensive gold coin in existence.

The landmark tour took in seven countries, including Ireland.

The 1933 Double Eagle Coin Tour Visited Dublin in March, and has won Samlerhuset a prize for the 'PR Campaign of the Year - Reputation / Brand Management'.
