Greens committed to Govt despite latest poll

Communications Minister Eamon Ryan has said the Green Party is committed to continuing its role as part of the current Government.

Communications Minister Eamon Ryan has said the Green Party is committed to continuing its role as part of the current Government.

Mr Ryan was reacting to this morning's opinion poll showing that just 10% of voters are happy with the Government's performance and more than half want a general election.

Despite this, the minister says he believes the current Government can steer Ireland out of its current difficulties.

He also said the Greens didn't get the country into the current situation, but could help to get it out of trouble.
