Cliff Taylor was today appointed editor of Ireland’s fastest growing national newspaper, the Sunday Business Post.
Mr Taylor, Irish Times economic editor, takes up the role following the resignation of former boss Ted Harding.
It is unclear why Mr Harding left the paper just over a month ago.
Mr Harding spent several years investigating high profile stories and personalities in Irish life and saw it become the nation’s fastest growing Sunday paper.
Mr Taylor takes up the post after missing out on the editor’s role at the Irish Times when Geraldine Kennedy took over around two years ago.
The paper is owned by Thomas Crosbie Holdings, which also owns the Irish Examiner.
