He's more used to charting the lives and loves of the English upper-crust but Oscar-winning writer and actor Julian Fellowes could soon be observing the Irish ... he's thinking of moving here to benefit from the tax advantages allowed to writers.
He's not entirely a stranger to these shores since his family own an island off the Cork coast.
He said: "I spent a lot of my time there as a child. It has a cottage where one could live for some of the year".
The writer of 'Gosford Park' and the upcoming 'Young Victoria' reckons "moving to Ireland is an attractive proposition".
