A man in his 30's remains in custody following his arrest in connection with the death of an inmate in Cork Prison last weekend.

A man in his 30's remains in custody following his arrest in connection with the death of an inmate in Cork Prison last weekend.

41-year-old Graham Johnson died from a stab wound received during a row over a TV remote control in the prison kitchen last Saturday.

Gardaí arrested a man at the prison yesterday morning and he is being held at Mayfield Garda Station.
