Wagner: X Factor stinks like a set-up

X Factor contender Wagner Carrilho said the show “stinks like a set-up”, it was reported today.

X Factor contender Wagner Carrilho said the show “stinks like a set-up”, it was reported today.

The Brazilian, who lives near Dudley in the West Midlands, is the 159-1 rank outsider to win the ITV1 talent show.

According to The Sun, the singer told a friend: “It stinks like a set-up. I don’t think I will win because they won’t let a Brazilian win.”

He also described Simon Cowell as “the boss” and says the sharp-tongued music executive runs the show.

He said: “No-one tells Simon Cowell what to do. He owns the record company, he owns the television channel and he owns the programme.

“Whoever wins it doesn’t affect him because he earns the money anyway.”

Wagner was brought back to the show as a wild card having been booted out by Louis Walsh at the judges’ houses stage.
