Mr Dinos on target for Ascot run
Trainer Paul Cole today reported Mr Dinos to be “on schedule” for next month’s Gold Cup at Royal Ascot at York.
The six-year-old has been absent since being badly jarred up when sixth to Papineau in his bid for back-to-back victories in the stayers’ crown last June.
“He’s on schedule for the Gold Cup, but whether he has a run before then depends on the timescale,” said Cole.
“Like a lot of horses, he got jarred up and we had to treat him for the injury.”
