Alert in Co Down after suspicious object spotted
Bomb squad officers in the North were this afternoon examining a suspicious object spotted in a hedge in Kilkeel, Co. Down.
Police have sealed off the Balinran Road in the town and houses have been evacuated during the alert, which began at 8.30am this morning.
