A host of celebrities attended a glittering party last night to support breast cancer awareness month.

Television presenter Fearne Cotton, actress Adele Silva and singer Faye Tozer were among the guests at the Pink Ribbon Party in central London.

Held at the Waldorf Hilton Hotel, the charity ball was part of a series of events held this month to raise public awareness and funds.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer for women in Ireland and the UK, with nearly 41,000 new cases in Britain alone each year.

It accounts for almost a third of all cancer cases in females. One in nine women will develop breast cancer at some point in their lives.

Breast Cancer Care’s fundraising pink ribbon badges are currently on sale at many shops.
