Shamrock Rovers’ supporters must wait a further 10 days to know whether their bid for the club is acceptable as the jammed Irish legal system ensured another delay.
Examiner Neil Hughes was in the High Court today to inform Judge Frank Clarke that he has completed his duty as examiner, and sought for a hearing when the club would most likely be taken out of examinership and put in the control of the supporters’ trust ‘The 400 Club.’
However, with the High Courts’ term due to end in a fortnight’s time, the timetable is jammed and the earliest that Judge Clarke could fix a hearing was Thursday week July 28.
With the examinership period due to end on Tuesday, Judge Clarke also extended the period of protection until Friday July 29.
