Six women arrested in connection with the theft of two paintings from Russborough House in Co Wicklow last year have all been released without charge.

Six women arrested in connection with the theft of two paintings from Russborough House in Co Wicklow last year have all been released without charge.

The women were arrested for questioning on Wednesday in connection with the robbery last June.

The two paintings, Thomas Gainsborough’s Madame Bacelli and View of Florence by Bernardo Belotto, were valued at just under €4m.
