Firefighters were tonight tackling a blaze at the London headquarters of Unilever.

Firefighters were tonight tackling a blaze at the London headquarters of Unilever.

Emergency services were called to the offices of the multinational corporation in New Bridge Street at 5.55pm.

The fire was believed to have spread to the sixth floor of the building near Blackfriars Bridge.

Smoke billowed from the building as crews from four fire engines tackled the blaze.

No ambulance crews were called as all employees were evacuated and no-one is thought to have been injured.
