Gardaí identify Sligo road accident victims

The names of the two people killed in a road accident in Co Sligo last night have been released.

The names of the two people killed in a road accident in Co Sligo last night have been released.

They were 41-year-old Ursula Kearns and 13-year-old Joanne Henry, both with addresses in Tubbercurry.

The two-car collision happened at 10.15pm on the N17 just outside Tubbercurry.

The driver of the second vehicle escaped injury.
