Actress Halle Berry has tentatively settled a $2m (€1.67m) countersuit she filed against the previous owners of a Beverly Hills property she and her husband bought, her lawyer said.
Her lawsuit, filed in June, alleged former homeowners Jonathan and Alison Roth did not tell her the $2m (€1.67m) home needed $1m (€835,000) of repairs. That suit followed one filed by the Roths, who claim the actress knew about the condition of the property and bought it ”as-is”.
Berry’s solicitor, Martin Singer, said the case was tentatively resolved last month. He would not give the terms of the settlement, which should become final in January.
Berry and husband Eric Benet separated after they bought the house.
