The Teachers Union of Ireland has reacted angrily to the Government's decision to allocate 51,000 additional training places to FÁS.

Tanaiste and Enterprise Minister Mary Coughlan made the announcement earlier today.

TUI president Don Ryan says the Government's move lacks initiative and imagination.
