The threat of industrial action, over severance for former Greencore employees, still remains a distinct possibility.

The plight of the workers will be high on the agenda of a SIPTU regional conference in Killarney this weekend.

The Union's General Secretary Joe O'Flynn was critical of Greencore's rejection of Labour Court recommendations on worker compensation.
