Galway secured a three point win over Laois yesterday in the opening tie of their National Football League campaign.

In Division Two, Armagh enjoyed a one point victory over Cavan in Crossmaglen, while Monaghan saw off the challenge of Roscommon in Clones.

In Division Three, there were victories for Limerick and Wexford, while Carlow, Tipperary, Offaly and Antrim were all victorious in Division Four.
