Minister confirms docklands location for new Abbey
Minister for the Arts John O'Donoghue has confirmed that the Abbey Theatre is to be relocated to Dublin's burgeoning docklands area.
The location was reported in the media a number of months ago, but was only confirmed today by Mr O'Donoghue.
He said an international competition would be launched to find the best design for the new building.
