A number of Pakistani doctors based in Ireland are planning to return to their homeland to help the victims of last weekend's earthquake.
The 7.6-magnitude earthquake is believed to have killed around 35,000 people and has left millions more homeless.
Aid agencies are struggling to bring supplies of food, water and shelter to the victims.
Irish-based Pakistani doctor Taureeq Akbar is currently organising teams of medics to travel to the worst-affected areas over the coming months.
