Ken Doherty's campaign at the Snooker Grand Prix is effectively over after the Dubliner suffered a third straight defeat in the group stages last night.

The world number four squandered a 2-0 lead to lose 4-3 to Ian McCulloch in Aberdeen.

The defeat means his last two group matches are merely academic.

Elsewhere, Michael Judge also lost last night, but is still in a good position to reach the last 16.
