A man is to face a series of charges linked to rioting in Derry.

Man charged in connection with Derry riots

A man is to face a series of charges linked to rioting in Derry.

The man, aged 26, was charged with riotous behaviour, hijacking, throwing a petrol bomb, possession of a petrol bomb, arson and attempted criminal damage and dangerous driving.

He will appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court today in connection with public disorder in the city on August 13.
