A garda investigation is underway into the death of a man in Co Wexford last night.

A garda investigation is underway into the death of a man in Co Wexford last night.

The man, who was in his mid-fifties, is believed to have been stabbd in the chest. The man's wife raised the alarm.

The couple are believed to be from Dublin, and were on holiday in the Courtown area of the county.

The State pathologist, Dr John Harbison, is understood to be carrying out a post mortem this afternoon.
