Man critically hurt in Dublin car accident

A 36-year-old man remains in a critical condition in hospital, after he was hit by a car on the N11 in Dublin.

A 36-year-old man remains in a critical condition in hospital, after he was hit by a car on the N11 in Dublin.

It happened at Whites Cross, Leopardstown at 4.30am today.

A stretch of the road is currently closed southbound, while an inspection of the scene of the accident is carried out.

The man is being treated at St Vincent's Hospital in Dublin.
