A new poll shows the majority of people here back the €85bn EU/IMF bailout.
The Ipsos-MRBI poll for the Irish Times reveals that 51% welcomed the rescue deal, while 37% did not.
This latest poll shows that Fianna Fáil voters were most supportive of the rescue package and did not believe Irish sovereignty had been surrendered because of it.
But overall, 56% of people believed our sovereignty had been surrendered against 33% who said it had not.
Asked about the Budget, a majority of people - 68% felt it was unfair - while just 27% said it was fair.
Labour's alternative approach to tax increases and spending cuts was favoured by 42% of people.
But when asked whether they felt an alternative Fine Gael/Labour coalition would have done a better job, just 38% felt they would have while 42% said they would not.
The poll was conducted on Monday and Tuesday of this week in all 43 constituencies. One thousand people took part.
