Director quits at Blunkett row firm
A director of the firm at the centre of the David Blunkett row has also quit, it was announced today.
DNA Bioscience said Lucy Siddiqi was standing down because of the pressure on her and her family under the “intense” media attention.
In a statement, the company said: “Lucy Siddiqi has resigned as a director of the company due to the considerable pressure brought upon Lucy and her family under the current intense media attention.”
The PR firm representing the company said Ms Siddiqi resigned on Monday.
