Slane residents plan injunction to stop concert
Residents of Slane are to take out a High Court injunction to prevent Madonna playing her first-ever Irish concert there in August.
It follows months of speculation about the staging of the concert on a Sunday to facilitate the star's religious beliefs.
However Meath County Council have still to receive a formal application from concert promoters MCD.
