Five Palestinians have been killed in exchanges of fire after Israeli troops took over a building in the West Bank town of Nablus.

Israeli tanks drove into the neighbourhood as troops started to pull out of nearby Tulkarem.

The five Palestinians were killed when the army tried to arrest suspected militants in the Al Majeen neighbourhood.

Troops took over a building where an explosives factory was located. Four Israeli soldiers were slightly injured in the raid.
