There were ten goals at Dalymount Park last night as Dublin rivals, Bohemians

and Shelbourne clashed in the Eircom Premier League.

Shelbourne won the game by 6 goals to 4 after they went three goals ahead after just thirteen minutes.

Bohs were missing five first choice players and this was exploited by Shelbourne early in the game with goals from Pat Devlin, Richie Baker and Stephen Geoghegan looking to have sealed the points for the Tolka Park

side within the opening thirteen minutes.

Glen Crowe pulled a goal back for the home side only to see Shelbourne restore

the three-goal advantage almost immediately.

Bohs added one more in an amazing first period to leave the score at 4-2 at halftime.

Two more goals from the home side, including another from Crowe, levelled the match but the lack of first team experience showed yet again as Shelbourne pulled away once more when Davy Byrne scored on the 68th minute.

The result was secured by Jim Crawford who made it 6-4 when he scored late into injury time.
