A garda investigation is underway after a number of shots were fired at a house in Limerick.

A garda investigation is underway after a number of shots were fired at a house in Limerick.

The incident occurred in O'Malley Park on the Southside of the city at around 6.40am this morning.

The shots were fired at an upstairs bedroom and downstairs sitting room window.

Although the house was occupied at the time no one was injured in the attack.
