Cork City can all but end Shelbourne’s slim title hopes tonight with a victory at Turner’s Cross.
Top-of-the-table Cork have a 14-point advantage over third-placed Shelbourne and a victory would make it almost impossible for Shelbourne to retain the title for the third year running.
Cork are near full strength with only midfielder George O’Callaghan (suspended) ruled out as manager Damien Richardson opts for the same starting XI that drew 1-1 with Djurgarden in the UEFA Cup last Thursday.
Shelbourne welcome back skipper Owen Heary but midfielder Stuart Byrne is ruled out through suspension while Glen Fitzpatrick and Jim Crawford are injured.
