Artic lorry crashes at Slane

There has been another accident at Slane Bridge in Co Meath.

There has been another accident at Slane Bridge in Co Meath.

An articulated truck crashed through the bridge wall and is hanging over the River Boyne.

The driver escaped injury but is being treated for shock.

The N2 is blocked and diversions are in place.

This is the second such accident of a similar nature within the past six weeks at the well known black spot.
