North's Greens want voting age lowered

The Green Party in the North has called for everybody over the age of 16 to be given the right to vote.

The Green Party in the North has called for everybody over the age of 16 to be given the right to vote.

Party leader John Barry said the proposal to lower the legal voting age from 18 could help address voter apathy.

He has also called for teenagers to be allowed to elect representatives to District Policing Partnership Boards.
