Five charged with terror offences in UK
Five men arrested in a series of anti-terror raids in the south east of England last week were tonight charged with terrorist offences, Scotland Yard said.
Two other men, also arrested during the raids, were released on bail pending further inquiries.
More than 700 police officers were involved in the operation, which came as half a ton of ammonium nitrate fertiliser was seized from a west London self-storage unit.
