Arsene Wenger would not be surprised if the race for the Premiership title went right down to the wire.
The Arsenal boss believes five or six teams will be involved - and he expects his side to emerge triumphant.
Arsenal moved into second place, a point behind Manchester United but with a game in hand, after beating Leicester 3-1. The down side was that his injury list continues to grow, with Ray Parlour picking up a back injury.
Wenger said: "By the end of the season, one goal or one point could make a difference. It is looking like that.
"Five or six teams could win the title, which is unusual, as it is usually only two in the race.
"But it is back in our hands now. We have become consistent and that's why I believe we can do it.
"The only poor result we have had recently in the league was against Newcastle and I felt we were unlucky in that game.
"I have been saying for many weeks that this team have got great belief and spirit.
"We have been to Leeds and Leicester, which are two difficult places to go to, and have taken four points when it could have been six.''
Martin Keown was also back in the wars. He complained to referee David Elleray about a challenge from Elliott that saw him needing three stitches in a cut above his eye.
Wenger said: "Martin came in bloodied and said Elliott had hit him with his elbow."
