Gardai have released the name of the elderly woman who died in a house fire in Co Louth yesterday afternoon.

Gardai have released the name of the elderly woman who died in a house fire in Co Louth yesterday afternoon.

Mary May Marmion, 86, of Kilcurry, near Dundalk, was killed after the blaze broke out in the kitchen of her house at around 3.30pm.

Ms Marmion was pronounced dead on arrival at Louth County hospital yesterday.

Gardai are not treating the incident as suspicious.
