Bohemians will be without pair Thomas Heary and Tony Grant for the next three weeks after both suffered injuries against Shamrock Rovers on Friday night.
Heary suffered a badly-bruised shin in a clash with Lee Feeney though an x-ray and scan showed no further damage while Grant has been ruled out for three weeks with ankle ligament damage.
The news is a big blow for player-manager Gareth Farrelly who is working off a thin squad anyway after losing nine players during the close season though he has been boosted by the return of centre half Ken Oman.
The 22-year-old defender is back in full training and could return to the Gypsies’ first team in a fortnight.
