Several Mexican television journalists landed themselves in hot water with Greek authorities for filming military installations in Athens.

The journalists, in Greece for the Olympic Games which begin on August 13, had their documents seized and checked by Greek police after being caught filming around the port of Piraeus, where military ships are moored as part of the massive Olympic security operation.

They have since been released, however, and Olympic organising committee ATHOC have expressed their “regret” over the incident.
