Restrictions on Irish exports to be lifted

The European Commission has told the EU Parliament that the existing restrictions on Irish exports due to foot-and-mouth, will remain in place until April 19.

The European Commission has told the EU Parliament that the existing restrictions on Irish exports due to foot-and-mouth, will remain in place until April 19.

The restrictions are to be confined to Co Louth, the site of the first and only outbreak of the virus in Ireland.
