Veteran rocker Bob Dylan will delight fans by exposing details of his 40-year career in his memoirs - which will consist of three separate volumes.
The singer-songwriter's Dylan's Chronicles: Volume One - released on 20 October next - will be the first of a planned three-book series by the 63-year-old.
Insiders insist the extensive autobiography highlights Dylan's talent for writing and will offer fans a fascinating window into the Lay Lady Lay star's life.
Publisher David Rosenthal describes the "beautifully written" tome as "extraordinary and revealing".
It will not be the first time the famous musician has scored success on paper - his volume of poems, titled Tarantula, was published in 1971.
