Boy, 14, critical after Dublin shooting
A 14-year-old boy is in a critical condition in hospital after a shooting incident.
The teenager was seriously injured at a house in the Clondalkin area of Dublin at about 10.15pm last night.
Gardaí said the boy was at the home in the Woodford area when he suffered a gun shot wound.
The teenager was taken to Tallaght hospital where his condition was last night described as critical.
Gardaí said officers in Clondalkin are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
However, it is understood it is being treated as a tragic incident and not foul play.
