Eamonn Dunphy appears in court over drink-driving incident

Radio and television presenter Eamonn Dunphy appeared in court this morning in connection with a drink-driving charge.

Radio and television presenter Eamonn Dunphy appeared in court today in connection with a drink-driving charge.

Mr Dunphy, from Pleasants St in Dublin 8, was remanded on bail to reappear again on April 8 next year.

His case was adjourned because of pending legal proceedings in the High Court over the effectiveness of new digital breath-testing devices that the gardai have begun using instead of traditional blood and urine samples.
