Two held over cannabis seizure
Two people were arrested today after customs officers and gardaí seized 4.7kgs of cannabis at a house in north Dublin.
A Congolese man, aged 28, and a 22-year-old woman from South Africa were arrested under Section Two of the Drug Trafficking Act.
The drugs had arrived at the home in the Swords area through parcel post.
The pair were taken to the nearby garda station for questioning.
