Shelbourne manager Pat Fenlon has admitted that the injury crisis at Tolka Park has been a big blow for the club recently.
With one of the biggest and most talented squads in the League, Shelbourne were expected to have plenty of cover for every position this term but cruel luck has seen them lose every left-sided player at present.
Ollie Cahill (eye), Wes Hoolahan (thigh), David Crawley (head) and Dave Rogers (ankle) are all injured at present while Owen Heary (knee) and Alan Moore (knee) are also on the absent list.
“We must have the most left sided players in the League and at the moment, we don’t have any. To be fair, we haven’t had any serious injuries since I’ve been manager and, although there are a lot out, none are long term,” said Fenlon.
